Paula J. Welch
FRAMINGHAM Paula J. Welch, 59, a lifelong resident of Framingham, died Sunday Oct. 18, 2009 after a lengthy illness. Born in Framingham, she was a daughter of the late Robert J. and Eileen M. (Bruyere) Welch. A graduate of Framingham North High School with the class of 1967, Paula worked locally as a hair stylist and also as a waitress at the Wayside Inn in Sudbury. She leaves her siblings: Robert J. Welch, Jr. and his wife Linda of Salisbury, Md., Eileen M. Welch of Framingham and Richard J. Welch and his wife Nancy of Charlton; and 2 nephews: Christopher and Andrew Welch. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Friday, Oct. 23, at St. Stephens Church, 221 Concord St., (Rte. 126), Framingham. Burial will follow in the family lot at Edgell Grove Cemetery, Grove St., Framingham Centre. Visiting hours are Thursday Oct. 22, from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Boyle Bros. Funeral Home, 173 Union Ave., Framingham. The family suggests memorial gifts in Paulas name be made to: Susan G. Komen for the Cure, Attn: Donor Services, PO Box 650309, Dallas, TX 75265-0309.
