I realize most everyone is geographically distant, but at Pat's urging, I'm posting this invitation to an upcoming opening of my art (the format here prevents me from posting the invitation I sent out, which looks considerably better.):
You are cordially invited to join Marty Klein at the opening reception for an exhibition of his recent images:
“Getting Closer to Flora and Others...Images from Green World”
Owing to my interests in ecology, foraging and gardening, I possess an intimate knowledge of 'green world'. I strive to share that with others through my art, among other ways. Subjects include flowers, mushrooms, vegetables misc. nature, etc. Recurring themes include sensuality, balance, change, beauty in things overlooked and playfulness. Most of the work will be my "scanography", but I will include a few photographs in this exhibit, as well.
When: Saturday, September 8, 2007 (Through 10/2)
5 pm – 8 pm

Gary and I would have loved to see your show... He is out of the country but will be back next week. Have not signed up for reunion yet due to vacation plans but I am leaning toward going.

Marty! Phil Nurenberg--I like the direction you're going aethetically and politically in your art. It really is good to see how you turned out. You and Fred were my first friends when I moved to Framingham at age 10 in Ridgefield Developement--Wow!
